Wolf Spiders

Are large ground dwelling hunters, they are most often nocturnal. Many of the larger wolf spiders live in burrows, the entrance normally is full of spider silk and debris. Female Wolf Spiders carry their egg sacs, and the newborn spiders ride on her back. They can be distinguished from the Pisauridae family by the fact that They have eight eyes arranged in three rows. The middle row has two large eyes, and the bottom row has of four small eyes.
